Knit a little

Some progress came my way today. It was red. It was garter stitch. It was a simple way to test my endurance and tolerance.  My thumb was tender, so I adapted.  It was a slow and tedious process. I wasn’t expecting a miracle… I had realistic expectations.  I did not push or over do it.  They say, slow and steady wins the race.  That’s where I’m at. But I will say this, it was nice to have needles and yarn in my hand; creating. Something red.  Something garter stitch.
