LACE

image

I love the beauty and delicate nature of lace, but admittedly, I am not for creating this fabric. It’s too complex and too unpredictable. I really don’t like it. It’s unstable. This is Spanish Lace from a stitch pattern book. I think I actually saw a sweater in Macys with this pattern several years ago. Very elegant. I still hate doing it. Carry on.

  1. In all fairness, not all lace is created equal. However, I’ve tried knitting that pattern. I’m pretty sure it’s the devil.

    • You are absolutely right. But even “easy” lace I have some issues with. I guess too, I like to knit and watch TV. With lace I feel like you have to really concentrate.

That Spanish Lace LOOKS difficult and I believe you!
