Cascade Kisses

Simply put, Cascade Magnum is great and the cowl is done. Now to block it. Ugh! I did find seaming with it to be tricky though. I found that it often separated and snapped when tugged. In addition, there was a knot in this skein. Oh well. I’m not easily deterred.

Raw reality…check

My life has back hand slapped me…done all kinds of back flips, punching in the throat and eye gouging in 2013. But guess what? The year is almost out and I will be the victor; I’m glad to have knitting to help me! Through it all, I can just smile. It’s gotten realer these last few months and has given me even more reason to knit!

It’s my pleasure to tell you that my new favorite yarn is Cascade Magnum! All you need is a couple of hours and BAM! Project is done! And the skein is pretty reasonable I think at $22. I’ve started a cowl and expect to have it done by tonight and start another. I know I should be stash busting but right now…Err.No.

I’ll take instant gratification for one thousand please!

What’s new?

Nothing really. I’ve been pooped out from work so just limited knitting time. Slow but steady on my Fable Fibers KAL cowl but thankfully, I think I’ll be ready for the bind off soon. I was in the city this past Saturday and I bought this baby at Knitty City.

I’ve been going through some stuff and someone helped me tremendously and take care of things while I was out on vacation. I’m thinking a cowl and a headband…free pattern.

1.Vite cowl
2. A New Years Cowl
3. Marshmallow Fluff

What do y’all think? I’m just trying to use the one skein.

What’s been new for you?
